Ten Richman Greer Attorneys Named "Best Lawyers 2012"

John M. Brumbaugh, who is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law, concentrates his practice in commercial litigation. Brumbaugh is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the International Society of Barristers. He is a former President of the Two Hundred Club of Greater Miami, a past chair of the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and past Chair of the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Specialization.

Bruce A. Christensen concentrates his practice in family law, divorce and domestic relations. A Board Certified attorney in Marital and Family Law, Christensen serves on the Board of Managers of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and is a member of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.

Manuel A. Garcia-Linares practices primarily in the areas of commercial and class action litigation as well as corporate and transactional matters. Garcia-Linares is the 2011 Chairman and President of the Florida Association of Managing Partners and the immediate past president of the Cuban American Bar Association. He is a Trustee of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and a member of the City of Coral Gables Retirement Board and the City of Coral Gables Parknership Committee.

Alan G. Greer, Board Certified in Civil Trial Law and Business Litigation, concentrates his practice in the areas of civil commercial litigation, antitrust, mediation and arbitration, professional malpractice, construction litigation, class actions and civil appeals. Greer is Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the International Society of Barristers. He is also a past president of the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society. In 2010, he was named to the Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America and in 2008, he was named The Florida Bar Certified Lawyer of the Year, receiving the Justice Harry Lee Anstead Award.

Charles H. Johnson, who is Board Certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates, practices primarily in the areas of trust and estate planning, probate, guardianship and probate/guardianship litigation for the firm. He is a member and past chair of the Estate Planning Council of Greater Miami and a member, past Vice Co-Chair of the Probate and Guardianship Committee of the Dade County Bar Association, Trustee Member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Orange Bowl Committee.

Mark A. Romance concentrates his practice in commercial and complex litigation and has significant experience in real estate, trademark, trade secret and non-compete related litigation. A past president of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division, he currently serves on Florida’s Eleventh Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission and the Florida Bar Rules of Judicial Administration Committee, and is a past Chair of the Florida Bar Civil Rules Committee.

Gary S. Betensky is Board Certified in Business Litigation and maintains a civil trial, business litigation and appellate practice concentrating in complex commercial litigation and business disputes. He was recently appointed to the Palm Beach County Judicial Campaign Practices Commission by the Palm Beach County Bar Association and is Chair of the Professional Ethics Committee of the Florida Bar and a former Chair of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee for Palm Beach County. Betensky also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Palm Beach County Chapter of the American Jewish Committee.

Gerald F. Richman, Board Certified in Civil Trial Law and Business Litigation, is one of South Florida’s leading complex commercial litigation law practitioners. Richman concentrates his practice in the areas of antitrust, securities, contracts, construction, federal agency matters, banking, civil RICO, professional liability, consumer, employment and civil rights, probate litigation and class action issues. He is a Chairman of the Fourth District Court of Appeal Nominating Commission, member of the Board of Directors of the Economic Council of Palm Beach County, member of the Executive Committee of the Palm Beach County Criminal Justice Commission, a former president of The Florida Bar and a past president of the Palm Beach County Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

John ‘Jay’ G. White, III practices primarily in the areas of commercial and complex business litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, professional malpractice litigation, class actions, and officer and director representation. White is a past president of The Florida Bar, a past president of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and he currently serves as a member of the Judicial Qualifications Committee. 

Manuel Farach focuses his practice in the areas of real estate and business law, including corporate and mergers and acquisitions; lender representation; debtor/creditor law including bankruptcy and complex mortgage foreclosure litigation.
