Josh Spoont is an attorney in the Miami office of Richman Greer, P.A, having joined the firm in 2008. He maintains a robust civil litigation practice with an emphasis on complex business disputes, business torts, construction/real estate disputes, employment disputes, and adversary proceedings in Bankruptcy. Additionally, he has experience in business transactions, including corporate acquisitions and employment-related agreements. Josh represents a diverse client base of individuals and corporations across multiple industries, including healthcare, banking, gaming, real estate, and telecommunications, internet and media. In 2013 and 2014, Mr. Spoont was selected as a Florida “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine, a distinction conferred on less than 2.5% of attorneys in the state.
Mr. Spoont received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law in 2007. While in law school, Mr. Spoont served as an executive board member of the Justice Campbell Thornal Moot Court Team, where he represented the law school, both as a competitor and as a coach, at national and state competitions. He also earned a Master in Real Estate from the University of Florida, Warrington School of Business, and received his Bachelor of Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of Miami, where he majored in Finance.
