Dolly Hernandez, counsel to the firm, focuses her practice on complex marital and family law cases where she represents high net worth individuals in matters that include international child abduction actions pursuant to The Hague Convention, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, dissolution of marriage, equitable distribution, alimony, paternity, child support, as well as parenting and time-share issues.

Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Ms. Hernandez practiced at some of South Florida’s leading marital and family law litigation boutiques and adds a different dimension to complex marital and family law matters due to big law experience as an associate at the Miami Office of Baker McKenzie.

Her professional and community involvement stems beyond the South Florida area and encompasses the national level through her involvement with the American Bar Association. To that end, since 2011, Ms. Hernandez has served as a Co-Chair of the Family Law Litigation Committee for the ABA’s Section of Litigation and currently serves on the Steering Group for the International Family Law Committee of the ABA’s Section of International Law. Further, since 2015, Ms. Hernandez serves on the Board of Directors for the Dade County Bar Association and is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation.

Ms. Hernandez earned a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in finance from the University of Miami and a law degree from the University of Miami School of Law. While pursuing her bachelor’s degree, Ms. Hernandez, was awarded the James A. Sawyer Memorial Scholarship, a departmental finance scholarship, was a Member of the President’s 100, and was the assistant news editor for The Miami Hurricane. In law school, she was the recipient of both the Dean’s Honor Scholarship and MPLE Scholarship, as well as a member of the International Moot Court Board.
